Loki von Laufen is the most adorable 7-8 month old German Shepherd mix on the smaller side at 30 lbs. He's a perfect fun-sized companion with a heart far bigger than his stature. We picked out Loki from his picture on a shelter website where he looked like a classic German shepherd. It was a big surprise, or should we say, a little surprise, when we got to meet him. This sweetheart is a total love bug  who is eager to please and will happily snuggle into your arms for cuddles. A terrific walker, he steps out happy and excited, enjoying his time sniffing around and acting as a gentle greeter to everyone he meets. He shines in playgroups too, where he is comfortable mingling, sharing playbows and zoomies with other dogs, and showing off his affectionate nature to staff.  He seems unaware that he is 1/3 of the size of many of his playmates. Smart and treat-motivated, Loki already knows his "sit," takes treats gently, and even passed his initial cat and guinea pig testing, making him a truly well-rounded boy ready for a home of his own. He will make the best buddy in a 'little package' for someone.
